Good evening.

My bonnet is still stuck shut, so I fitted a new belt via the offside wheel well, lining out etc. Had morning squeals and car is on 83k, thought it prudent.

It was easy enough.

My question is, I put in a 6pk1120 Contitech, but removed the old VAG original which was a 6 rib 1117, is this normal?

Every site advised the 6pk1120 for my car. CCZA 2.0tsi.

Is the 1120 ok? It seemed a perfect fit with normal tension. Test drive was fine.

Really can't be bothered taking it apart again, far too cold out there.
