fast felicias lol

Featured Replies

Hey guys and ladies, just dropping a new thread on here.

i am a proud owner of a 1997 1.6 glx felicia, i was reeding before and saw about a turbo on the 1.6. now that would be intresting, wonder how fast it would go becuase i have had mine at 115 mph!! with no mods.

i am looking for new breaks and discs for all round if it could be done. becuase it is just scary late breaking in a felicia. not that i do it offen!! would like to lower the suspension aswell and put bigger and wider wheels on to inprove the handling.

if any one know where i could get tuning parts for my car i would be gratefull if you let me know.

does any1 no when the next skoda meet is?

cheers jason

Supercharger would be the best way to go, there are kits in the Czech republic for the 1.6 engine. There are a few kits for the 1.4 8V Polo which is bascially the same engine so these could be adapted.

I used to hav a felica 1.3 lxi it was a really great car! Really torquey engine and great fun to drive.

I really wondered what it would drive like with a sweet suspention kit...

nice one guys thanks for the replys, so what cars you drive.

i used to have a 1.3 but had an accident in it, i get pretty good handling out of my 1.6. but only can push it to about 65-70 round coners.

whats the new fabia and octavia like?

I have had Skoda wise..

1.3 Felicia

1.6 Felicia pick up

Fabia vRS

Now drive a VW Polo Variant.

I love the look of your vw lummox... really nice! ;)

How does it drive?

How does it drive?

I turn off the alarm, get in turn the key, depress the clutch, select first, let up the clutch and then were off.

;)

The serious answer is it drives very well.

cool, cool.

have you guys ever been to a skoda meet, are they any good.

o do you know where to buy the super charger kit. is there a website or anything. the super charger would look awsome hanging out the bonent. if you could do that. :-)

We often have stands at the big shows during the year, also have been know to have a National day at a track.

if any one know where i could get tuning parts for my car i would be gratefull if you let me know.

dont bother with a turbo' date=' you'll have to take out a mortgage just to buy the kit!! and to make them reliable you really need to spend a lot lot more uprating the internals (pistons, conrods, etc) it would be much more viable to use inpedendant throttle bodies

check out http://www.dbilas.com/index.htm for info on throttle body kits for a 6n polo. with the right camshaft these can give very impressive results.

i had a felicia 1.3 which i transplanted the 1.6 engine & gearbox into from a scrapper on throttle bodies and it was fast as **** and the throttle response was instant unlike with the turbo jobbies.

My first car was a red Felicia 1.6 GLX hatch and it was great fun.

Only swapped it for my Octavia when it started getting old and needed repairs and I fancied something faster and posher.

Handling probably wasn't technically brilliant but it was great fun and you could feel what it was doing all the time and the engine was really great even though on paper it was nothing special.
