post mot

Featured Replies

So i had my MOT on Friday.. failed on a CV gaiter, got that sorted and passed.

Then driving after I pick my car up my drive belt shears off 20 miles out of the local Farmers auto, whilst i was on the motorway, so I drove as far as the nearest junction to make sure my car wasn't gong to overheat and so I didn't have a headgasket to replace. After changing the drive belt my car is now dripping oil, and I've only had a quick look, but think it way be from the lower engine, possibly meaning sump gasket has gone. Can anyone shed any light on what they think it may be?

Cheers

If its coming from the front kinda towards the gearbox end of the block id say the oil pressure switch has sprung a leak.
