Good day everyone,

Like many owners of the Skoda Octavia Mk3 2.0 TDI 135 kW, I’m experiencing quite high oil consumption — about 1 liter per 1,000 km.

I’ve already had the car checked for oil leaks and turbocharger issues, but everything appears to be in good condition. Because of this, I’m now considering replacing the piston rings.

Has anyone here done this repair?


Did it significantly reduce or completely solve the oil consumption problem?

Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
