Instruments distance impulsive number

Featured Replies

Hello

I have this little problem I want to fix but can't find any answers. I have swapped instruments on my Octavia 1 for maxidot

I did all the immo work and they work and all but the km/h is off after 100km/h if I see 130 in instruments on GPS I have 150 I tried coding in vcds(not original because I don't have money) and when I tried saving the coding number it never saves I click "do it!" The vcds loads the controller again and in the coding is still the same number I also have vag commander but I don't want to brick anything so I didn't do anything with it.

And it would be nice if someone could help.

Thanks

If i remember right to make any changes to the instrument cluster u need a car specific code that can be found in the owners manual. There is some way to pull it with vcds but i never had to do it so i cant help u with that, second option is go to a dealer and pay them to get it. When u get the code u go in the login menu on the right enter the code, and than go and make changes. Also if it says that code is invalid put a zero eather before or after the code.

Okay thanks for answering. I will try it but I don't know with what code to login I have immo pin of old clusters and of the new ones too

I think thats the pin for the whole module becouse immob is a part of that cluster try logging in with it and than try changing the settings
