Is it possible to repair a cup holder which doesn’t close for a VRs 2002? Also is there a step by step guide to removing the cup holder to have a look at / replace it please?

Since your cup holder doesn't close, does it have some kind of a spring mechanism ? If so, I suggest trying a hardware shop for a new spring. (I worked in one for 6 years, and I got this kind of enquiry every other day !) Good luck :-)
