Enabling TSR (Traffic Sign Recognition) and HBA (Light Assist)

Hello,

I am trying to enable Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) and High Beam Assist (Light Assist) on my Skoda Octavia IV Combi (NX) 2021, 2.0 TDI 110 kW and I am looking for someone with experience on MQB Evo vehicles.

Vehicle information

• Skoda Octavia IV Combi (NX)

• Model year: 2021

• Engine: 2.0 TDI 110 kW

• Camera: 5WA980653A (MQB MFK 3.0)

• ACC installed

• Basic LED headlights

• MIB3 infotainment

What I have already done

Using OBDeleven I enabled:

• VZE = coded

• Road Sign Detection in Dashboard

• Road Sign Detection in HUD

• Various TSR related settings in A5

However, TSR still does not work and no traffic signs are displayed.

Skoda Connect/Shop offers me Light Assist as a Functions on Demand purchase for approximately 208 EUR, which suggests the hardware may already be present.

My questions

1. Has anyone successfully enabled TSR on an Octavia NX with camera 5WA980653A?

2. Does TSR require a FEC/SWaP activation, or only camera parameterization/dataset modification?

3. Can Light Assist be activated without purchasing the official FoD license?

4. Is there anyone who can perform remote activation/parameterization for TSR and HBA?
