Audi S1 carrier hubs and new wishbones

Hello, I'm looking at fitting some audi s1 carrier hubs. I've recently read a topic about the pq family and the fabia wishbones are slightly shorter than polo/ibiza/a1 arms

When using the these different hubs do we need to use the longer arms?

They also don't mention the steering rack arms are different so I'm assuming we can use the same.
