I recently installed an aftermarket dab+ module to my wife's 2012 Yeti. The original radio is Swing RCD something. Apparently a Media input 1E needs to be enabled for this to work. Are there any "hobby" OBD II scanners that can do this, or do I need to have it done by a VAG dealer?

Incredibly stubborn hub bolt

I'm replacing the front springs and shocks due to a broken spring on the left side and a lot of visible rust on the shocks. By the guides I've seen online this requires separating the hub from the driveshaft, but on both sides the hub bolts are incredibly stuck. I've tried soaking with penetrating oil (multiple applications over a couple days), heat with a heat gun and induction heater, air powered impact driver, air hammer on the end of the bolt and a 2m long extension arm(broke the 1/2" square

After getting our VRS estate in October last year I had it in my head to remove the arch liners and wax the bits you can't see....having bought it in October the weather didn't really lend itself to the job in hand so after some continual warm weather I did the job at the weekend. All 4 arch liners came off and a whole can of Bilt-Hamber's finest was skooshed about, liners were re-attached with new stainless screws. Anyway.... Hello My skoda start keeping rpm in neutral around 900 to 950, yesterday i went for ride on motorway and engine light came on then few minutes after dpf light came on. Drove for 2 hours no issuses turbo works fine also power is fine, traffic was cray so was not able keep driving in high rpm. Will only driving in high RPM help to clear out or not? Mid-way through a holiday in France and the Infotainment gremlins are back… SOS call fail, parking distance fail and manoeuvre assist fail, coupled with infotainment system booting, lasting about 30s, freezing and rebooting. SOS light on red and multiple warnings on dash. Car is coming up to 2 years old and has had repeated software issues. Could really use some help from someone who has had this issue and can stop the endless reboots !!!
