Had exactly the same, colour of the sky was so bizzare

That's roughly what some places in Oxford looked like last weekend - a bit surreal really. Hope that car is ok though

Andover hasn't had any rain for a couple of weeks now, although Southampton and Marlborough both had big storms a couple of days ago

Must be lucky then ;)

Saturday several roads were flooded badly in Oxford near the JR where SWMBO works. Went down to Kent area and it was much better there (just a load of rain).

Few days ago there was a very heavy downpoor + lots of thunder/lightning etc during the night. Apart from the flooding, I suppose it's going to help with the water supplies etc :)

It hasnt rained heavily here for weeks.

Yeah, noticed that last night too. I tried to take a photo on the phone, but it didn't capture it :(

It's felt like >20deg, day and night, for about 3 weeks here in Manchester.

Its not mine.

What happened/will happen if you try and start it? Apart from it NOT starting..

if you have a CAI with a low level air intake it will suck air into the engine and bust it :)

water doesn't compress like air does ;)
