Octavia 4 combi 2026 - how to retrofit variable/raised boot floor. Looking for guide on how to cut the fabric to retrofit floor

Featured Replies

Hi. I'm having trouble with mounting the brackets in my combi essence drive. I've heard that it's compatible, as long as you make a few holes in the fabric of the boot. It fits almost perfectly, but there is something blocking the part, like 2 milimeters from the place. These are the parts that I'm using, if you have any instructions for this retrofit - please help!

I'm attaching a photo, I made these 3 matching holes in the fabric, but there is still something wrong about the fit.

@SteveTheElder Hi Steve. I've noticed your comments, could you please tell me, whether there is anything that I'm missing here? I would normally use PM, but I think that it might also help the others.

Do you have a photo of where the problem 2mm is or what you think is causing it?

I can look in my car tomorrow.

The attached are how the side supports look in my car (these were factory fitted), hopefully helps a bit.
