Hi all.

I have a 2023 Octavia VRS Phev and have had the usual software bugs and gremlins over the years. Something I have only started to notice recently however is that I’ll often find that the car is unlocked, sometimes having been so all night. And yet at other times, when I want it to remain unlocked (while I am washing it for example) it will keep on locking itself, despite me repeatedly unlocking it again.

I know all about the key not being kept too close to the car etc etc, and I know for fact that I am not forgetting to lock it when I walk away. I have been driving for more than 25 years now and locking a car is just something you do without even thinking about it.

Does anyone else have this issue at all, or shall I just chalk it up to being another one of my cars quirks?

Hi All, I know this is a topic that seems to have been covered a million times but my vRS has become a problem child. It was losing a small amount of coolant and I would get the odd whisp of steam from the back, I diagnosed a leaking EGR Cooler (confirmed with off car pressure test) and a small water pump leak. I replaced both and thought my work here was done. However it now seems to have made losses worse, this time from the reservoir, so yesterday I did a 90 min motorway drive and by the t

2014 Fabia TSI 94,000 miles. Few weeks ago came out from work and engine mgmt light went on. No issue for good nr of miles but then misfire started accelerating / hills. Then misfiring on idle quite badly so got it to garage. They borescoped / pressure tested and reckoned some carbon cylinder 4 pressure 80 so said valve job - £2k estimate. First post in this forum, I usually hover over the Octavia Mk 111 one as I own a 2016 diesel vRS. My sister has a 2015 1.2TSi manual Yeti which went into limp mode just before she went into hospital for a hip replacement - yes, we are of that generation! The problem I'm having is that the fuel pump is wired directly; I mean, when I turn the ignition switch on, the pump starts and doesn't turn off. I'd like to know the wiring diagram for this pump, how it's connected to the relay, and how I can fix this problem. Thank you very much.
