I would not reccomend Green Stuff pads

Yes you could try GSF they can be quite cheap or Euro Car Parts

But there is cheep and quality

We do Tarox discs.

They are heat treated so will last longer.

The G88 are fantastic quality and look good too.The Tarox pads are excellent too and the price of these are not that far off OEM

As has been mentioned its your choice though ;)

Sarah, Why would you not reccomend green stuff pads??

There are quite a few that have been fitted have warped the discs.

I have seen 1 customer that I had have 2 sets of discs on as the pads warped them.

Changed the pads and there was no issue.

Sorry , it could be prefference and I am sure that this will cause loads of people saying that they have not had a problem , but with the amount that is on the market , I myself would steer clear from them and would advise anyone else to possibly go for something else

Sorry , could just be my opinion

If your looking for vw original equip then lucas TRW DF4064 is the ones you need if you got a local accessory store that can get them or if your in fife at all (probobly not though) i can do them for £85 the pair inc vat.

German french in most cases sell cheaper makes but the quality is usually far below TRW as you would expect

Got mine form vwspares.co.uk and am well pleased with them and pretty cheap too

We have a place in Dunfermline where I have just bought pads and disc for my vRs for 87 quid if that it any good let me know and we can maybe arrange something

greenstuff pads have much the same reputation in the Ford performance world too. More than one reputable supplier has stopped selling them due to the amount of grief he was getting with disc problems associated with greenstuff pads, and never any problems with the same discs and other pads.

Greenstuff are popular largely because they appear to produce less dust than others and don't get wheels so dirty. The problems mainly stem from their willingness to deposit pad material onto the disc when overheated, which they seem to do readily if "used" enthusiastically. This makes the brakes judder, leading to the common assumption of "warped discs", in fact what it does is makes the disc thickness vary due to the deposited pad material on parts of the disc.

That sounds pretty good actually for both discs and pads???

What manufacturer where they??? Wonder how much it would cost to ship them to me though????
