Cannot obtain parts - looking for over six months for a replacement headlamp unit ! I am in Reading Berks - any suggestions ?

Also now paid out over £200 on fault diagnosis - still no clearer as to a problem or the solution - my mechanic says I should scrap the car !

Any ideas would be welcome.
