AC staying on

On my mk3 octavia when I use windscreen demist the A/C comes on and goes off when turned off now on my new octavia mk4.5 same thing but when you turn it off the AC stays on can this be coded not to stay on.

It's been a very long time since I posted anything here. Over the last few years, life has thrown a lot of curveballs my way, both good and bad. Some may remember me from the very early days of Briskoda, from what I remember I think I am something like member number 6. I was very active for a very long time on this forum, I started with my Mk1 Octavia vRS, one the first imported into the UK, then got a MK2 Octavia 1.9PD and then a Mk2 Superb. Hi everyone. My son bought a 2023 Skoda Scala 1.0 TST Monte Carlo back in April. It's a beautifiul car. Early in the summer (on one of the days it was 35C) he said that it wouldn't go into gear after having it parked all day, although after a bit of trying it was fine. This didn't happen again until last month when the same issue occured. Over the last few weeks he says it's been happening more often, although it is still only intermittent. Just so good. Getting into an already warmed car, or if not pre warmed they are quick to heat. With the right tyres fitted and the ability to chose less power and regen braking they can drive very well on winter roads. No concerns about just doing short trips or the car sitting unused for a while as many are having with their ICE vehicles. It is just as case of being sure there is a charge in the car, and obviously they are not going to fully discharge.
