Interior door handle LEDs not working on the right side

SmyQ · 19 October19 Oct

Hi everyone, The ambient lighting in my interior door handles has stopped working on the right-hand side, while the LEDs on the left-hand side are still working fine. I removed the front right LED and tested it, and the LED itself is working fine, so the fault seems to be somewhere in the wiring. Has anyone experienced a similar issue and could share some advice on where to start looking? I'd rather avoid chasing the fault blindly through the wiring loom if there's a common weak point or a known

2021 iV - Brakes are poor - Suggestions?

petertr · 19 October19 Oct

Ever since I bought this car a year ago, I've been unimpressed with the braking. I find myself pressing the pedal far more than I'd expect - it doesn't give me a ton of confidence. The seller said they'd recently replaced the front discs - so I guess it was some really cheap stuff that went on due him knowing he was shortly selling the car? Not sure what sizes I'd need, but its the iV 1.4 petrol hybrid model, with 18" wheels. I guess these all have the same brake sizes. Can anyone recommend a

Are front doors the same on estate & saloon?

simonkbike · 23 hours ago23 hr

Dau has wiped the passenger side of my 2017 1.6tdi estate down another vehicle on the M1 (all safe thank god). I'm thinking just replacing the doors might be cheaper than getting them mended & there seems to be plenty on eBay. Clearly, the rear door is specific to the estate but what about the front? Are the saloon & estate the same? I can swap all the internals inc wing mirror so I'm assuming trim won't matter, just the race blue paint code. Simon

Hi all. Im getting all the parts together to fit an vRS bumper on my regular Octavia. Came across an issue with front fog lights as the wireing is not a straight plug and play. Has anyone done it before? Is there a adapter on the market or any solution? Want to keep the car as close to stock as possible in terms of fog lights, cornering lights and stuff. Any information or recommendation is much appreciated.
