Recent owner of a Škoda Octavia vRS 2.0 tfsi Mk3, looking for upgrade/improvement advice and help with a few ongoing issues.

Yeti 2012 Where is the parking speaker?

I've suddenly got this fault code (Parking speaker short or open circuit) unrelated to other work and was o.k at the last scan. Since then the spare tyre and tools have been in and out the boot. I've read conflicting info - Behind nearside B pillar, underneath rear headlining. Both need work to inspect and I'd appreciate a location heads up if anybody has replaced theirs, seen where it is, or know if wiring/connectors run in the tyre well? I should also know where the park assist module is to ch

Hi there I have asked this before but cant remember or find post. On the front bearing hub bolt there were three types One hex which is old style and 200nm plus 180 One multipoint with ribs on face 70nm plus 180 One multipoint without ribs on face/smooth??? Is it 200nm plus 180 or same as ribbed??? I just found the old ones I removed and they were ribbed. I just realised after fitting new springs etc I got three new bolts with one as a spare and they were smooth not ribbed. Seems that they have

Hi there, thank you for accepting me. Its great to find an old school forum for the skoda. Just bought a mk2 Kodiaq Sel 2.0d 150 back in September so its a 2026. Loving it! Sold my 2014 mk7 golf in 2021, went to a focus estate, biggest mistake of my life! Glad im back in the VAG family. Looking forward to getting to know the community. Catch you soon.

How to lock keys inside?

I often have a need to lock the car but leave the keys inside and use the manual unlock to get back in. This might be when I go diving or swimming and have nowhere safe to store the key but also don’t want to take it in the water with me. I’ve tried doing this by turning off KESSY, which mostly works except when I do unlock alarm goes off.

Hi, I have a Skoda Octavia estate '20 plate. In the centre console we have a 12v power socket. This used to be held in place by a small piece of black plastic/black glue(?) that used to go between the console itself and the metal of the socket. It was visible from the car, i.e. not underneath/inside the console itself. Over time this black surround/glue perished and cracked to the point where it has now come off completely and there is nothing holding the power socket in place. It just sits in
