Keyless start not working

I all of a sudden can't start my 2014 Octavia without pushing the button in with the key. I swapped batteries in both fobs just a month ago, but did it again just to be sure. Car just says key not found. It's like the receiver just isn't working. VCDS has no fault codes related to this. Is this module known to fail? Seems weird to me.

Any tips in fixing this is greatly appreciated.

My 2021 L&K iV has been written off as a buffoon in a van decided that he'd like to rearrange the front end of my car. Super annoyed as this car was pretty special with all the options on it. I'm now looking at an Enyaq Vrs to replace it.

Hi all, I have a 2021 Octavia MKIV 1.5 TSI e-TEC (petrol, DSG). Today I opened the fuel flap to refuel and found some liquid in the filler well around the neck (photo attached). I wiped it away before checking whether it was water or petrol, so I can’t say for sure. There was no strong petrol smell, but I’d like to rule out a problem. I’d also like to check whether the opening is normal. As far as I can tell, there’s no silver flap or valve visible inside the neck. Should there be one? Could an

I have just stumbled across a report about TAKATA Airbags which have been fitted to many Skodas. When the airbag is triggered they become lethal bombs. Takata does not exist any more but they have developed a cheaper airbag in 2004 and it has been fitted by many manufacturers until 2018. They have used Ammoniumnitrate tablets as the driver for the airbag when it deploys. Ammoniumnitrate will degrade over time and the tablet will become a dusty substance and this will not produce gas in a contr

The front camera isn't working, most likely because I bumped into an invisible bollard 🙄 Is there a way of getting to the camera so I can try to fix it before going to an expensive garage. Ty Nicky.
