Right I have a Felicia 1.3GLXi on an "N" plate with a genuine 41190 or so miles full s/h and been told it needs a 40000 mile service.

What does it entale/ how much will it cost?

Just to top things off the exhaust has just fallen out with its brackets:mad: . Took it to motorsave to find out the last back box has been welded on now I need a new system after the down pipe :thumbdwn:

If you've got the service history then IIRC the list of what needs doing at each service is listed in the front of the booklet with the stamps in it.

At 40,000 miles I think you'll need, oil and oil filter change, a new air filter and new spark plugs as a minimum. Then, depending on when they were last done, you might also need a coolant change and a brake service (fluid changed and pads/shoes as required).

Cost very much depends on who does the work as the parts needed are relatively cheap, there's nothing complicated in the above list so any independent garage can do it - find somewhere local that "feels right" - and I would guess that it will be in the

:) 40,000 servive on a Felicia is a major service that also includes a fuel filter change....often neglected due to it being quite an awkward job. It's important to do it though.....every Favorit/Felicia fuel filter I've replaced has been blocked almost solid, which must put a strain on the pump!
