Featured Replies

Hi All,

Just thought id give you all an update. I have just bought the atp gt2x turbo and 3" inlet good for 260-280bhp with everything else stock. Should be here monday. The tt smics have arrived, however i need piping and all parts to make thease fit. Someone plz help

Cheers

Steve

What manifold does it use? Or does it come with one?

It's designed to physically fit the standard manifold but ideally it should be used with an uprated one such as ATP's own.

you will probably need a TT inlet manifold too to fit the twin smic's along with every piece of pipework for it. best of luck but i prrobably would have gone for a fmic.

how much were the twin smic's from a TT out of interest?

It uses the stock manifold...atp admitted that the stock manifold is achtually very good, and that the hype that the stock manifold is restrictive is to get you to buy a new aftermarket one.

The tt smic where 1.pence sterling and 40 to ship to Ireland. An ebay special. Does anyone have the parts ala, leon cupra r, s3 tt etc????

Well all,

I thought Id give you an update. I have finally got my car fitted with the garrett turbo setup and atp 3" inlet pipe option. All I can say is WOW!! burt clutch in about half an hour, over 300 ft of torque and 280 bhp running 18psi. Simply stunning or atleast it will be when i get a new clutch.

blanc - have you the figures proven on a rolling road? Very interested in this setup...

Cheers,

Lee
