I'd get another megs one if you've only got access to Halfords, theyre pretty good though not the cheapest. :)

I am using a halfords own brand Lambswool mitt (Grey thing) works fine, as good as anything else I have used, nice and soft and a fiver iirc.

Went into the local Poundland shop and got a microfibre mit for £1.00

Tesco ones are excellent, with a sponge inside.

I used the Halfords lambs wool mitt and it worked very well but fell apart within about 4 weeks. I have just bought the Megs micro-fibre mitt.. figers crossed that it works and lasts.

The problem with Microfibre ones is they aren't plush enough so there isn't so much fibre for the grit and dirt to escape up to. The Halfords ones have induced marring to the paintwork on cars in the past, going by what people have said on DW.

Whatever you do though make sure you use the 2 bucket wash method :)
