felicia 1.6 with no idle!

Featured Replies

I've just bought a 1996 Felicia 1.6 estate.Runs and seems to go fine, but has no idle!If you drop revs cautiously, it sits at 2-400 RPM on the revcounter, obviously lumpy, but in normal use just dies when you take your foot off.Its been standing 2 months before I got it and previous owner doesn't admit to it having that fault. I got it very cheap for other reasons so I'm not going to dispute it with him! Any ideas anyone? I read the early Felicias had a slow tickover,but.....!

Can't help there sorry. Not an L&K is it by any chance?

Sorry to seem ignorant, but what is an L&K? I found a local auto electrical workshop who said they will code read it for "£5-10" which sounds too cheap to refuse! Hopefully that might point me the right way.

It's a special edition Felicia with a leather interior, saw one the other week with a busted rev counter, so just wondered! Good luck getting it fixed.
