Coilovers finally on the fabia

Featured Replies

got the car back today, after it was in to get its 40k service, new bootlid fitted and sprayed (due to rust appearing, not even 2yr old yet.)

fk highsport coilovers fitted while it was in.

they have refitted the badging on boot lid and if you have noticed the spoiler is missing, it broke during removal, new one to go on shortly, quite like it without it, smooth look..

How much were the coilovers? If it's not a rude question:D

Looks good  Ride height looks about spot on for everyday use. Must say it looks strange without that rear spoiler, I never thought it would make that much difference.

aye, first thing i noticed, looks totaly different without it, clean looking, as for the badges, i took them off before, cant be bothered doing it again. think il leave them on.

the ride is certainly stiffer, SWMBO picked it up after her work, and said she was nearly sick... **WHAT A SHAME**

Needs lowering. Get out those C spanners. ;)

I only know of one other car except mine with FK highsports. You can drop it down a little bit more still than that. How are you finding potholes, etc? One bad thing about them is the crashing and banging on the UK poor road surfaces.

i would drop it a bit, but if you notice the cattlegrid behind the car, it has a nasty hump on to the dirt track that it just misses if i take it at top side of it, as for the dirt track, its just nasty..

That looks like the A1 compared to most of our regular road surfaces. How are you finding the distinct lack of body roll around corners? :D I goddamn love it!
