Crankshaft width on 1.3 2000 Felicia

In addition to the missing thermostat on my newly acquired Felicia (see http://www.briskoda.net/forums/felicia-fun-forman/2000-felicia-glxi-temperature-query/59479/), the fanbelt broke.

On fitting the new belt, I noticed something quite peculiar - the crankshaft pulley is narrower than all the other pulleys!! The coolant pump, alternator, and powersteering pump are all a perfect fit for the 6 ribbed belt. But the crankshaft pulley looks like it takes a 4 or 5 ribbed belt. There is an overhang of 1 or 2 ribs.

I'm sure the belt is the right one as it is the same as the previous one and it matches all the other pulleys.

Anyone come across this before?
