Just pulled off the motorway 30 minutes ago to a bang.. and now I only have 2nd gear and no clutch at all. Does anyone have a price or rough estimate how much a garage will charge to fit a new box and clutch?

the most i've ever paid for a second hand box from a breakers yard s 150 quid, a new clutch kit which includes the pressure plate, friction disc and thrust bearing cost between 50 and 100 quid depending on where you but them.... you will also need two new driveshaft nuts....

after that it's just labour and that varies depending on who and where you take it to. but as a rough guess you should be able to get it all done including the parts for 400 quid???? that's assuming of course that the flywheel hasn't been damaged too!
