Eibach & Jabba fitted at last !

Featured Replies

After such a long wait, have eventually fitted them and the results are, well, fantastic. :)

The ride quality has not deteriorated and the cornering is transformed. Where the car felt a little 'disconnected' from the chassis, especially over rough surfaces at speed, it is now very stable and 'feels' a lot, lot better.

Whilst in Penrith, driving over many cobbles the car behaves so well and there is nothing 'crashy' about it at all.

The journey from Egremont to Penrith (& Shap) is a fantastic way of testing any cars suspension and it proved to be a real blast, especially when compared to the original setup from the factory.

I would have never believed that Eibach springs although stiffer, would be so comfortable. In some ways, moreso than before.

The Jabba ARB (cheers VRStu) is brilliant and I expect it's this that has reduced the body roll considerably. Coupled with the Eibachs, the car is great and the way it should have been from Skoda.

A word of warning though. Although the car handles way better, it's still nose heavy and you should excercise common sense always..... ;)

Well happy and HIGHLY recommended !
