hi all I know there have been a few threads on insurance but cant believe it

my renewal quote came through for my (standard car) and lowest I could find was

Just changed insurance over to these as well,just cost

Wait unitl you have to chase ytour policy documents and god forbid actually make a claim.

Flux is cheap - just don't expect a service

Im with Flux.. dont have a problem with them.. BUT.. because they are a broker.. and your policy will more than likely be with highway insurance services.... have a read of THIS

reading the post through and as far as I am aware and my mrs no insurance will pay out as a result of mechanical failure!! ( I am financial Consultant and mrs was until she was promoted an insurance underwriter for norwich union) so we got an idea of insurances.

i know what you mean though as the smaller insurance companies will try as they have less reserves ( company funds) to payout compared to big insurers plus big insurers have more to loose when not paying out as can damage their rep.

I am insured through adrian flux, policy is with "Royal Sun Alliance", not had any issues with them despite several policy changes.

I'm with Adrian Flux/Equity Red Star, last year i paid £540 all mods declared, this year, £440! Very happy. According to Chris Knott, the market rate for me is £620 with no mods! They told me to bite their hand off!
