As a high mileage company car driver, I'm seriously considering a vRS diesel (obviously will need to test drive it first!)

Does anyone know what insurance group it falls into? My company car policy lets me have a car up to group 15.

Well the petrol version is a group 15 so I can't see that the diesel would be higher so looks like it's on the list

Thanks for the quick response. Just checked the policy this morning and my maximum group is actually 14, not 15. :(

If the petrol vRS is 15, then hopefully the diesel will be a group lower. Here's hoping!

I can't order the car until December (3 months before my current car goes back to the leasing company) so plenty of time for lots of different test drives off my short list!
