does the sump bung require a new washer after oil change

as i am about to change oil;

I recently changed the oil on my 1995 Felicia 1.3 LXi Plus.

I got a new washer, but used the existing plug. Not sure what is best practice, but someone I know suggested I should definately change the washer so I did.

I got the washer and oil filter and from JHM Butt's of Bawtry.

18p for the washer and 45p for the plug itself, although postage might kill it if you only need a few bits so perhaps try your local stealer as well.
