driver side door lock

Featured Replies

the problem is my drivers side front door lock, it is central locking, i had to replace it about a year ago because it got stiff and just would not turn, and the local garage put a new one in, now unfortuanately the problem has returned and i just cannot turn the key, needless to say i cannot remove the door panel to take a look, i have to get in through the passenger side, has anyone got any ideas to help me please,

is it an old style key (with teeth on the edge) or a new style (flat with a groov in each side.

i have the later style locks and some times the key wont tern to lock the door. but if i tern the key over, all is good again.

i have both

it spands the keys :)

regular fault

flick the key fast on-off on -off until it fails on the door you are at then try ...... it'll open all fine

skoda we love them
