I don't have parking sensors on my Octavia vRS mark II and generally do not need them (even though rear visibility is limited). I have, however, had a couple of very small bumps with other cars whilst parking and this evening, a bollard.

Thankfully no damage was done but I am amazed at how the rear bumper on the Octavia has been flexible enough to withstand a bollard. I know it's made of plastic but do any of you know how much 'bumping' it can take? I'm not planning to test it out but it's good to know that minor bumps do not cause permanent (visible) damage.

Watch it hasnt popped in and damaged something behind and then popped out. Happens quite often on modern cars.
