If we're going to play the "looks like" game I think it is more like a nice version of a BMW 1 Series.

But why do we always have to say it looks like something else?

Looks damn good to me, hope this turns to reality.

It looks like this was supposed to be emargoed till Friday but the Spanish press got their hands on it. They say it is supposed to be a concept for a Golf/A3 sized model and Skoda will judge the reaction in Paris. If it does not make it to production then elements from it should, possibly for the new Fabia or next Octavia.

Are all future Skodas going to have names that end in ....ster?

The reason I was playing the looks like game is because most new cars look the same now, and its dull, at least the honda civic looks different, I think we need more variety as all the car companies are going to amalgamate anyway at least let the designers off the leash.

Front wheel arches look like astra, but then again they could be Merc S / ML Class.

Headlights look like the most recent Saab (95??)

Roof is Roomster

Upper rear quarter window could be Mitsi Colt.

But so what, there have been thousands and thousands of different cars produced over the years so it's going to be mighty dificult to come up with a completely new design.

New Civic? Citroen could have brought that out in the early Seventies and no one would have been suprised.
