warranty.....

Featured Replies

Hi all

Im thinking of getting aftermarket springs and possibly a new exhaust back box but the car still under warrenty ... does anyone know if fitting these would kill the warranty :S

Cheers all

Andy

You should be OK, Andy. Others have done far more ambitious mods without problems. The warranty will obviously not cover the parts you fit, nor damage or defects due to the installation of those parts - not that an exhaust back box should cause any damage. Devonutopia was advised a while back by his dealer that fitting springs would totally invalidate his warranty, but that was an extreme case and would almost certainly not hold up in court if challenged.
