Octy PD130 is at the dealers at the moment - gearbox etc is out. They have asked me if I want the clutch changing at the same time - ie pay for the parts , because they're going to have to put it all back in anyway - either new or old clutch they don't mind.

So, the big question is.....should I get it done and pay

Depends how long you intend to keep the car? i would be inclined to change it personally.

I'd be inclined to change it. Although £240 for a clutch sounds a bit expensive!

I was hoping it would last forever! I'll have it for the foreseeable future, provided they fix the rest of the problems :thumbdwn: If they don't then it will have to go!

I would want to see how worn the clutch is.

Why is the gearbox out?

TBH I propably would change the clutch... although as said, £240 does sound a little bit heavy. Still probably worth it though imho.

leaking seal = new clutch plate, although if the old one had oil on it i would hope that would get done under warrenty
