Diesel Induction Kit?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Have just recieved my Fabia 1.4 tdi. Chip is on the way. Was just wandering what the benfits of having an Induction Kit are on a Diesel, if any?

Any help and input would be greatly recieved.

Many thanks,

Matt

induction kits are not all that great to be quite honest you will be better off with a replacement filter maybe you could also get a better air intake pipe but i am not too sure how it happens on the 1.4 tdi

PD160 pipe fits the 1.4 TDi aswell IIRC, get a Green Panel filter with it, don't get an induction kit; they aren't worth the money, and any gains if any will only be in sound.

What "chip" have you got for your car, McCains?

The same could be said of a panel filter, imho ;) The only reason I got one was because it can be cleaned so at some point will be cheaper than buying paper filters :D

have to say i had a viper cross on my 1.9 for a day and it sounded great, was only borrowing it though and you won't see any gains from it.

So like others have said just uprate the filter.
