VRS seat renovation

Featured Replies

Noticed that there are a few wear lines/ brown showing through on the leather part of the seat. Is it time to dig out the old kiwi parade gloss and repolish over them, or is there something ese I should do to prevent further deterioration or even splitting:eek: ? Also seem to have some piling at the edges on the white material on the seats, is this just a delicate trim with scissors job, or could this lead to unravelling? It has done 103k, so have to give it some dues.

this a furby or OCty VRS?

Have you used a proper leather creme to nourish the leather and keep it moist?

Octy. Haven't used anything on it yet, need to find something that won't run off on clothes etc.

Go get some leater stuff by autoglym or zymol IMHO.

Failing that go to a furniture store and go get some creme for leather seats. Leather needs nourishing or it will dry out and get all brittle and hard.

I used some Megs wipes but they crap after - I like a nice dull finish. Used them on the steering wheel also with the same crap result....
