Text missing in my "maxidotdisplay"

Featured Replies

Hi ppl

I hope someone could give me some help in here. In my Octavia vRS 06mod i have maxidotdisplay, and it give you some options like "vehiecle status" if you push the button and everything is ok with the car,the dispaly would show "status ok", i tryed this today, but the display showed "no entry", so something have to be wrong here, becuase everything was alright with the dispaly 3 months ago then i tryed this option and the text showed "status ok"

"No entry" is when there is nothing to report about the status.

If I select "vehicle status" when there is nothing like "refuel" or "fasten seatbelt" the display will say "no entry", it is normal.

I don't know where "status ok" came from though  and I never seen it on mine.

I wouldn't worry as long as everything else works ok

Has it been to a dealer or had a service since??

Never showed me Status ok, only No entry.

It might depend when you go to that menu.

Mine has always said 'no entry' any time i've checked it unless there is a fuel/oil/water warning on the dash in which case it reports that. Maybe 'Status ok' is displayed for a while after a warning is cleared.

Many thanks for your help in here

My car have not been at service yet. I am sitting infront of the usermanual and it says on page 24(danish manual) under "Auto-check-control", after choice of "vehickle status", the message "status ok" would appear if everything if ok
