I have seen the variable floor in the Estate, and wife is keen on it to divide up the large floor area when shopping. It is a long reach to put all the bags against the back of the rear seats to stop them sliding around.

In the brochure it is listed as an "Available on all models" but then says (standard on Elegance and L&K)

My question is should it also say "Only on estate"?

I wondered if you can get it fitted to the hatch as the boot floor appears identical?

Yep , only on estate as standard.

It can be fitted to the hatch apparently but the price quoted on the website doesn't include fitting

Thanks, as I thought, am interested that it can be fitted to the hatch as an dealer fitted option, where on website? I can't find any list of options at all, or is it in main brochure (not in one I was given by dealer!)

I have now found it on the website, it is a bit deeply buried!!

In Finland the variable boot floot is an option for all Octavias, HB and the estate. So it should be possible to order it as an extra over there too. One local dealer also said that they have it available in stock to be installed later.

So it's available for both versions either from the factory or later fitted by the dealer.
