engine mounts??

Featured Replies

Hello everybody!

I've just joined and am looking for help. I own a lovely blue 1998 Felicia diesel, it's been great - miles of trouble free motoring (touch wood).

I'm a copper and prior to our force using the Octavia VRS as our immediate response vehicles, everyone used to take the mick out of me someything chronic. I'm having the last laugh now though as dozens of bobbies are switching to Skoda. Ha Ha!.

I'm having a few problems at the moment though. I have recently had to have a new exhaust system, and the guy at the garage that fitted it (it had to be a special one as it needed a new catalytic converter, and it's a diesel) said that the engine mounts had perished and that was the cause of the exhaust breaking just behind the cat. I have a little baby at the moment and me and the other half are a little hard up. How urgently does this need fixing, and any idea how much it's going to cost at a Skoda dealers?

Cheers for any help!!
