Can i add r/c/l to my 2000 1.4 classic?

Featured Replies

I am looking to make modifications to it, the classic didn't come with r/c/l or even c/l, which isnt so bad in itself apart from the fact i have to go inside the car everytime i want to open the boot, not a huge problem but one that gets annoying. I was wondering if it was possible to add r/c/l now, im sure it is, and this enables me to have the external boot catch? so i can open the boot externally and remotely. Im sure you guys are the best people to ask. Is this possible to be fitted at a main dealer, and roughly how much would this cost?

Thanks

Tom

You can get a RCL kit from Skoda, but it doesnt do the boot. You could convert to an external switch but would involve alot of wiring plus new catches and a solenoid.

odd i got a 1.4 tdi classic and everyting unlocks on the fob, i dont have a switch inside to open the boot.

He doesnt have central door locking, it was an option on the classic.

No CDL means you get a manual release lever inside.

How about a 3rd party alarm come central locking come remote boot release kit?

A friend had one installed for about
