ARB Link Bush

Featured Replies

Hi all

I've been informed that the above is split, however have I have had a nose about and cannot see anything amiss. Trouble is I'm not 100% certain where this bush is, therefore am looking for some help.

Can some please confirm exactly where I should be looking and also explain the consequences of not getting this part replaced, should it actually be split. Also, if split how big a job is replacement.

Oh yeah, it's on an Octavia vRS (03 model)

Any help appreciated

Lance

it's on the end of the ARB (a big bar running from side to sidewith sort of hoops at each end) which is hidden behind the front wheels.

The car creaks lots and doesn't handle as well and generally bangs about if it is broken. Eventually damage can occur to the ARB itself.

Personally I'd get the bushes changed as they are cheap and a relatively common failure on the octy.
