Hi, I thought it time to recount my experiences.

Hi,

What was the hesistation like regarding the faulty Vacuum Valve Body?

I only ask as I am ahving terrible problems with the har hesitating on slight acceleration at around 1,900 rpm and upwards.

How did you approach the garage with it, as all i got was an ECU upgrade that hasn't made a bit of difference.

Hi,

2 problems:

1. Hesitation and lumpyness - like a missfire - between 1,400 and 2,000 revs when on a constant throttle setting.

2. When quickly slowing down to about 5mph them pressing the trottle, no response for 1-2 seconds.

Mechanic/Technician confirmed the first and contacted Skoda Technical who knew of the fault and he replaced the Vacuum thingy. This has also cured the second problem.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the info, might drag myself into a dealer tomorrow as I've just spent an evening driving with the car juddering away everytime I apply throttle on an incline.
