MFD2 in Octavia Mk1

As the title suggests......willl it go or can you only fit the MFD DX, if so what is the latest version of the DX?

MFD2 wont fit, its a completely different size shape.

Cheers, thats what I thought, is it totally different connection wise though, if it is only a different size it could be made to fit with the right mods top trim etc but if it is totally incompatible wiring wise well thats a different ball game.

Which is the latest revision of the MFD DX?

I think the latest MFD is Ver G.

Been making enquiries as my Dad is looking for one in his Fabia.

Hi, I've got a weird powered tailgate issue on my Superb. If I press the interior button I can hear the lock release, but nothing happens after. If I press the button on the outside of the boot, the lock releases but nothing happens. If I press that button a few more times, I will eventually start rising but only to about half way. If I press the outside button again, it'll drop back down again but I have to press down on the boot to get it to do the final catch. The button on the inside o

Hi All, I know this is a topic that seems to have been covered a million times but my vRS has become a problem child. It was losing a small amount of coolant and I would get the odd whisp of steam from the back, I diagnosed a leaking EGR Cooler (confirmed with off car pressure test) and a small water pump leak. Hi all, I have my Fabia currently fitted with the base Swing head unit. I'd like to upgrade to Bolero or Amundsen, and it's important to me to stay strictly with original skoda/VAG parts - no aftermarket Android units or third-party adapters. My main goals: Apple CarPlay (via SmartLink+) - Swing doesn't support this at all Rear-view camera integration - not currently fitted What I have found so far: I would probably need Bolero unit 6V0 919 604 (and variants) to fit my Skoda.
