What vesion is your MFD2 navigation disc ?

Featured Replies

All,

Wondering what version of the Navigation CD you have in your MFD2 ?

I honestly thought this would be redily available via the MFD2 GUI.

I have the answer

1. take the cd out of the MFD2

2. mount in a windows operating system

3. browse the root of the CD

4. look for a file called INFO.TXT

5. open the file in wordpad/notepad

look for the line at the top

Project-Name: TAN Great Britain 2003/2004 DX

As you can see mine is 2003/2004

I have ordered the new 2006/07 CD with ITIS (TMC Codes) from SatNav Systems

Nice one Ray.

I might use that info when I finally get round to writing a guide if you don't mind.

Same as yours Ray I'm afraid.

Guys - fill your boots. I'm a windows techie by trade. If it ain't got a Start button then I cant really help.

Just wish a standard reboot would sort out the problems with the car and SWIMBO - :)

She's kerbed the alloy !!!

any ideas??

I've seen Chipsaway do an alloy wheel on a Focus ST, it was quite badly kerbed and when they were done you couldn't tell where the repair was.

On the subject of MFD2 root directories, whats the file called "THE END" all about? its a load of dots!!!
