tried to use the rear wiper washer today but nothing came out, opened the boot and there was a puddle on the black boot trim so i took of the plastic panel on the boot and tried it again. the water is leaking from the black connector that the water pipe attaches too. the pipe is connected but on the black connector there is 2 holes (which are meant to be there) and the water is coming out of them, what are these 2 holes for?:confused: anybody got any ideas what could be the problem?

i know these problems have been on here before but i done a search and found nothing the same as this problem.

SWMBO Fabia had the same problem, which was fixed by a dealer for free. It is the connection between the pipe and the wiper mechanism that has come adrift. I think you need to take the cover off the tailgate to get to it, and then reconnect it.

i have done this there is nothing disconected.

Not sure then. Like I say I left it up to the dealer to fix, as still (at the time) under warranty. Have noticed since though that some water does still seem to come into the boot on the black trim, but a lot less than used to.

its weird its coming out of 2 very small holes on the connector but i just cant work out why these holes are there!
