Hi,

Gave someone a lift the other day and I got a comment regarding the taka-take (MillTM) sound being worse than usual.

Engine was cold so didn't think much of it, pretty normal

However a further check revealed the nut/washer holding down the rubber in which you slide the engine cover bracket is missing

As I have a homebase across the road from the office, does anyone here happen to know the size of the nut I'd need to replace it?

Hopefully I will get my replacement cap for the water reservoir as well today as that went faulty a while ago (causing the lovely beep/flashing light thing on the temperature indicator).

Must be getting near the 60k mark

Will be an M8 nut (10mm spanner size). Not sure on the pitch though.

Seems to be a 'normal' thread so kinda hoping for 'go to DIY store and buy some nuts of that size = fixed' scenario
