DVD Player

Featured Replies

I should get the getz this weekend and I want to have some better ICE. I am looking for a DVD Headunit with one of the motorised screens that pops out. The integrated 3" ones are too small. Problem is is that the Getz only has one "DIN" slot (if thats the word). I usually find that these DVD players are double din or two seperate dins, one for the screen and one for the player. I have found single din ones, but none I have found so far have has an SD/MMC/USB slot for my MP3's.

So is there a single din DVD/Screen/MP3 thingymagigy out there?

usually loads on ebay - particularly the slidy-out type. make sure it's got an amp as well as tuner etc...they don't all have them...

Hang on ....wont all this double the value of the car after 3 years? he he eh ; )

You best tell you insurance company first as I guess it will go up quite a bit.

what made you go for a Hyundai GETZ? are you not a YOUTH? or is that just your name and your really 60?

Hyundai GETZ why?

don't talk such rubbish boy, insurance companies aren't interested in things like In Car Entertainment, it will make no difference to your insurance as they won't care what you do with it but they will probably limit the stereo cover to about

They're doing very well at 3yrs because there's 2ys warranty left - Fabia 1.2 with no warranty or 1.3 Getz with 2yrs warranty - I know what I'd buy - and it drives better too.

Oh, and they don't break down

Absolutley, Iv'e driven a Fabia for around a year and the Getz is just a much fresher car. Standard Kit is leaps and bounds ahead as are the dealers. As For depreciation, even the oldest Getz models are holding onto their value well. Also has the best seating arrangement. Who ever came up with the way the seats fold forward, then again and clip onto the drivers headrest deserves an extra

But your young? fair enough you got a hyundai Getz, next query....auto? seriously the whole combinations shouts old before your time, but hey I'm a tight skoda driver ;)

chris the same thing could be said of you though, your young yet drive a diesel skoda with 5 doors. what an old person car to be driving at such a young age!!

Would a Lada Samara fit in with my more youthful Image?

i'm not knocking you for getting a hyundai getz, each to their own. just thought chris was being silly.

I've decided to sell all my kit though as I wont be puting it in the Fabia......Too much of an old mans car you see ;):D

When i had the hired Hyundai Getz in Portugal, i thought the standard sound system was good enough.

Step Daughter as just bought a Getz 12 month old for £4 K, rides ok but not exactly fast, thin seat bases, and hard plastics, a stereo that looks like it was knicked out of Barry boys shop window  Its a nice car and for her a sensible buy with 4 years warrenty left (about the same time it will take her to pay for it :D) tried to persuade her into a Fabia on 0% so would have cost about the same but its her money, felt I was perched on it rather than in it  suppose it is probably faster than the 54 bhp fabia tho so fare play, but not as well built/ sturdy feeling in my opinion, know which I'd rather be in in the event of a crack.
