Carbonio CAI.

Featured Replies

After 18months I decided to remove my beloved Carbonio CAI from the Octy. The car is gonna be sold next year so I thought I should try and put it back to standard.

I miss the noise!:( I never got bored of the induction growl and the loud 'Pssssht' sound as the dump valve released pressure. The car is virtually silent now in comparison and some of the character has been lost IMO.

I've also noticed a slight decrease in mid range torque as well, which goes to show that the CAI was doing it's job. I did have a fair few people telling me to get the exhaust looked at when they heard the noise.

If my next car is a turbo, then Carbonio would definitely be my first choice for CAI again.

(I've already sold it in case you were wondering)

Are you selling it....??? (the carbonio that is).

Answers by PM please... this thread can not be turned into an advertisement.

I'm tempted to go for one of these to go with my new purchase.
