THIS seems a bit of a bargain, and would sort out my commute (an hour each way) nicely. Anyone know if it's a decent sounding bit of kit - I have no problem, quality-wise, with the standard Fabia CD player, but want more storage.

Also, could someone advise me on or point me to a good guide to installing such a thing into my Fabia estate please?

You'll need a Skoda fascia adaptor, about £3.

THe wiring for the headunit should be ok, may have to swap switch/perm lives over.

Just need to run the cables for the storage then, depending on where you want it.

Blue spot are quite good at the questions and backup if needed. they also supply no end of connectors and adaptors

Aye - I'd looked through that bit and it looked far more comprehensible than CAD. Far fewer things to buy too. And free delivery. These things make Sporky a happy international jewel thief. I mean champion spork-fighter. Erm.
