Rear Wishbone bushes - MOT

Featured Replies

Had my rear wishbone bushes replaced a couple of months ago during my suspension change. During my MOT yesterday, the tester was going to give me an advisory on the bushes, saying there was play in them when turning from lock to lock. However, I told him they had just been replaced, so he removed the note. Any techies out there that can comment? Have these been picked up during dealership MOTs? By the nature of the bush with voids in them, should they have an amount of flex/twist in them?

they have quite a bit of play in them , especially when forcing the wheel back and forth during an MOT test , but it is normal , you should of got the Seat Ibiza cupra bushes fitted with no holes in , more rubber less play

They dont fit the 100pd arms, I've tried. I believe they've upgraded the bushes across the range now to solid ones. Just a little to lat efor me as I had the void ones fitted to mine.

thanks for the info , i thought all the wishbones were the same , hex at the end , the bushes fit in the console though don't they ? i've seen Audi A2 with solid bushes also
